Some people can only imagine that chicken is delicious only when it is fried. But will those people admit that eating such chicken, although tasty, is anything but healthy? There is another way to prepare chicken that is quick and easy but also provides a much healthier option for those on a diet or who simply want to watch they and their families eat.
Now the question arises, Why not bake the chicken in the oven?

- 1 Whole chicken breast
- Olive oil
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Wash the chicken thoroughly, dress and cover with olive oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. If you like you can add extra flavor to a marinade mix, consisting of whatever you like, from rosemary, thyme, and/or oregano. For a simple marinade, soy sauce and lemon will work fine.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish. Then place it in the oven uncovered. Bake the chicken for half an hour until the chicken is a golden brown, and presumably delicious. Check the temperature of the chicken with a thermometer, be sure the temperature has reached 170 degrees to ensure thorough baking.
- When you cook the chicken in the oven, you can even choose to fill the baking dish with potatoes, onions, and/or carrots.
